NextGenerationAeration

Rising energy costs, ailing infrastructure and increasing demand – Triplepoint Water Technologies has the solution.

Rapidly rising energy costs, increasing concerns about global warming emissions, ailing infrastructure and ever increasing demand are top of the agenda for the wastewater industry. Not only do all of these concerns need to be met simultaneously, but also with an eye on sustainability. Triplepoint has the technology to complete this task. Born out of 30 years of wastewater engineering excellence, the MARS Aeration System has emerged as the solution.

The MARS is a revolutionary next generation submerged aeration diffuser that efficiently provides mixing and aerating in one portable unit. Patented Double Bubble Technology™ creates a synergy that dramatically reduces energy costs associated with mixing and aerating while providing better treatment. Additionally, its portable design allows for low cost installation, versatility in application and ease of maintenance – ensuring sustainable wastewater operations for now and the future.

Rehabilitate
The MARS can be quickly deployed in order to upgrade existing aerators with no dewatering and no downtime necessary – the unit is simply lowered into the treatment cell while existing infrastructure remains in place. As a result, installation costs are minimized and, through the Patented Double Bubble Technology™ that the MARS employs, energy efficiency is increased by as much as 50% while treatment is improved.

Expand

By employing the portable MARS, the increase in BOD5 influent from an increasing rate base can be met by an increase in air needed for treatment. Quick and cost-efficient MARS deployment can quadruple the capacity of a plant and avoid the substantial capital investment needed for new construction or other alternatives.

Treat

Here are some examples of current MARS applications:

> Lagoon based wastewater treatment systems
> Reclaimed water storage reservoirs
> Lake and Bay restoration
> Deep cell wastewater treatment
> Secondary treatment ponds
> Stormwater treatment
> Activated sludge basins
